بعدما شوَّقت إليه، أطلقت شركة Epic Games تحديثَ Fortnite Joy Ride والذي يضع اللاعبين خلف المقود.
ويُضيف التحديث أربعَ مركباتٍ جديدة، بما يشمل السيارات والشاحنات، تحمل اسم: Islander Prevalent و Victor Motors Whiplash و OG Bear و Titano Mudflap. ومن المثير للاهتمام أن المطور الأمريكي وفَّر محطاتٍ لضخ البنزين في مركبتك، لإبقاء المحرك فاعلًا.
وعلاوةً على ذلك، يُمكِّنك تحديث Fortnite Joy Ride من تشغيل الموسيقى في سيارتك، وذلك عن طريق استخدام إحدى محطات الراديو الجديدة.
